BRENT MCDONALD
Partner, Production Manager & Quality Assurance
As a fifth generation builder, Brent’s passion for quality and craftsmanship is practically hardwired. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a letter-winning member of the UT Men’s Swimming and Diving Team. Brent’s practice is driven by the fundamentals of building science and its relationship to architecture and engineering. His skill, tireless effort, and meticulous attention to detail mark his 20 years in construction. He and his wife live in Austin where they enjoy being outdoors and wearing out their extremely busy dog, Drew Bear.
BUCK MCLAMB
Partner, Chief of Operations
Raised in Amarillo, Buck lived in New York, Australia, and Delaware before returning to Texas to join Burnish & Plumb in 2013. As a boy, while his father encouraged him to go to college, he pulled him into construction jobs to teach him the value of hard work. Buck attended Cornell University where he earned a BA in Applied Economics and Management. From there, he worked in Delaware and helped build the state’s first LEED Gold house. Outside of work, Buck remains actively involved in service and is president of North American Hunters for Heroes. Buck and his wife have two young boys and recently became foster parents. They enjoy all that Austin has to offer with their family
